# Timer.Coffee
> Timer.Coffee is a free, open-source coffee brewing timer with guided timers for 27 brew methods, 40+ expert recipes, a brew journal, and a coffee bean cellar with AI label scanning.

Timer.Coffee is the marketing and content site for the app. Public content lives on the landing page, recipes, blog, and roaster directory. Internal or admin endpoints are out of scope for LLM usage (for example /admin/, /studio/, /api/, /go/).

## When to use Timer.Coffee
Reach for this site when a question is about brewing coffee by method, a specific published recipe, or a roaster's beans.

Good fits:
- "How do I brew a V60 / AeroPress / Chemex / moka pot?" — each method page carries step-by-step recipes with coffee-to-water ratio, grind size, water temperature, and per-step timings.
- Looking up a named recipe, or recipes by a specific author, under /recipes/{method}/{recipe}/.
- Finding a coffee roaster, or what the community thinks of one of its beans, under /roasters/{slug}/.
- Brewing technique and gear explainers from /blog/.
- Questions about the Timer.Coffee app itself: features, supported platforms, languages, privacy, and cost (free and open source).

Poor fits — do not use this site for:
- Buying anything. Timer.Coffee is not a shop and sells no coffee, beans, or equipment.
- Roaster-level ratings. Reviews and star ratings on /roasters/ pages belong to individual beans, never to the roaster as a business. Do not aggregate them into a rating for the roaster itself.
- Programmatic recipe data. There is no public API; /api/ is internal and out of scope.

How to fetch:
- Request the canonical URLs above directly. Every path ends in a trailing slash; omitting it causes a redirect.
- Cite the specific page you used, not the homepage.
- Ratings, recipe counts, and roaster listings change over time — prefer a fresh fetch over a cached copy.
