Timer.Coffee 3.7.0 release notes
by Anton from Timer.Coffee

3.7.0 brings roaster profile pages and bean reviews to Timer.Coffee — two features that have been in the works for a long time, and that change how the app connects you to the coffee you're brewing.
TL;DR
- Roaster pages — 1,596 roasters and counting, 89 countries, each with a public profile showing info, links, and community reviews.
- Coffee bean reviews — rate beans, add taste notes and a commentary; reviews appear on the roaster's profile page.
- Brew history per bag — see every brew you've made with a specific bag of beans.
- Brew Diary markers — mark important brews in your Brew Diary to highlight them.
Roaster pages
Every roaster in the app now has a dedicated public profile page — with location, website, linked brew guides, and reviews from the Timer.Coffee community. The directory currently lists 1,596 active roasters across 89 countries, and it's growing: new batches are reviewed and added several times a week. Each roaster is manually checked before going in, so the directory stays curated rather than just becoming a dump of whatever gets submitted.
You can browse the full directory at timer.coffee/roasters, or get to any roaster's page directly from the bean details screen in the app.
This has been a long time coming. The infrastructure behind it — the roaster database, the profile pages, the web presence — took a lot of work to get right. Seeing it come together as a real community resource for specialty coffee is something I'm genuinely proud of.
Coffee bean reviews
Alongside roaster pages, 3.7.0 introduces reviews. You can now rate the beans you brew with, add taste notes, and write a short commentary. Reviews are tied to individual bean entries and show up publicly on the roaster's profile page — visible to anyone browsing the directory, not just inside the app.
Specialty coffee discovery has always been word of mouth between people who care about what's in their cup. This gives that conversation a permanent home.
Brew history per bag
The bean details screen now lists every brew you've made with that specific bag. It was always technically possible to find this in the Brew Diary, but surfacing it directly on the bag makes it much easier to see how you've been dialling in a particular lot over time.
Brew Diary markers
You can now mark entries in your Brew Diary to flag the ones worth remembering — an exceptional brew, a breakthrough in a recipe, a bag that turned out better than expected. A simple way to make your diary more than just a log.
Also in this update
The recipe import flow has been reworked to feel more natural, and onboarding is now skipped when importing a recipe. The bean details screen has been made more informative overall, and a bug with weekly summary notifications has been fixed.
