Timer.Coffee 3.8.2 — Your brews, yours to keep

An amber coffee droplet suspended above subtle ripples on a dark coffee surface, representing each brew becoming part of a lasting personal history.

Timer.Coffee 3.8.2 makes your brewing history easier to keep, understand, and use. You can export the details behind every cup, capture an evaluation while it is fresh, and find help without leaving the app.

TL;DR

  • Brew Diary exports: export everything, one bean’s Journey, or a single brew as Markdown.
  • Quick evaluation: rate a finished brew and add its taste, notes, and tags in one quick sheet.
  • Help Center: find searchable, localized guides and answers about the app.
  • Data export: request a complete archive of your Timer.Coffee data from Settings.

Take your brewing history with you

Your Brew Diary is yours to keep. Export the complete diary or one bean’s history as a readable Markdown file, or share a single brew as text. Dates, recipes, measurements, extraction results, ratings, tags, and notes travel together, while empty fields stay out of the way.

Brew notes are more useful inside the app too. Longer notes have more room to breathe, and links you add remain tappable. From a bean’s expanded brew history, you can now jump directly into its Journey to review progress, compare attempts, and revisit the best cup.

Capture the cup while it is fresh

After finishing a brew, tap the new star row to record your rating, taste balance, notes, and tags in one compact sheet. It is a quicker way to preserve what mattered before the details fade—and gives your next adjustment better context.

Help and data, without the detour

The new Help Center brings searchable guides and answers into Timer.Coffee in every supported language. You can also open the Timer.Coffee blog directly from the Hub or About screen.

For a complete copy of your account, open Settings → Privacy & Analytics → Export my data. Confirm the destination with an emailed code, and you will receive a downloadable archive containing readable CSV files, structured JSON, and a guide to the contents.

Everyday improvements

Grind-size suggestions now include values from your brewing history. Numeric fields behave properly while you edit or clear them, suggestion menus follow their fields as you scroll, long labels fit more reliably, and translations have been refined throughout the app.

Update Timer.Coffee and give your next brew a little more context.
