Terms of Service for Timer.Coffee

Last Updated: 30.10.2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use Timer.Coffee: the mobile app, the website at timer.coffee, the roaster dashboard, and the Timer.Coffee connection for AI apps (together, "Timer.Coffee"). By using Timer.Coffee you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

How we handle your data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

2. Using Timer.Coffee

  • Timer.Coffee is free to use. Some features need an account; keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us at support@timer.coffee if you think someone else has used your account.
  • Use Timer.Coffee only in ways that are lawful and that these terms allow.
  • Some features are marked as beta. They may change, behave unexpectedly, or be removed.

3. Content you add

  • You keep ownership of what you add, such as recipes, bean notes, reviews, replies, and roaster page details.
  • When you make content public (for example a review, a published recipe, or a roaster page), you allow us to store, display, translate, and share it within Timer.Coffee and on our website, for as long as it stays public.
  • You are responsible for what you post. Don't post anything unlawful, misleading, hateful, harassing, or infringing, or anything that includes other people's personal information without permission.
  • We may check content, including with automated moderation, and may hide or remove content that breaks these terms.

4. Roaster pages and the roaster dashboard

  • Roaster pages describe coffee roasters. Access to manage a page is given to people we have verified as representing that roaster, and we may remove access if that changes or if these terms are broken.
  • If you manage a roaster page, keep its details accurate and make sure you have the right to use the text, images, and logos you add.
  • Reviews are the opinions of the app users who wrote them. Roasters can reply to reviews but can't edit or remove them. If you think a review breaks these terms, tell us at support@timer.coffee.
  • Links on roaster pages are checked for safety. We may hide a link that is reported or detected as unsafe, and pause link changes until it is resolved.

5. Connecting AI apps

  • If you manage a roaster page, you can connect an AI app, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to it. Connecting is optional and you can disconnect at any time from the roaster dashboard.
  • A connected app acts on your requests and only within the limits described in the dashboard and our guide: it can draft review replies and suggest page changes for you to approve, and create private recipes, but it can't publish anything on its own.
  • AI apps can make mistakes. Check drafts and suggestions before you approve them; once you approve something, it is published as your content.
  • The AI app is provided by another company under its own terms and privacy policy. We aren't responsible for how it works, what it writes, or how its provider handles the data it reads.
  • We may limit, suspend, or disconnect an app that is misused, overloads Timer.Coffee, or puts other users at risk.

6. What you may not do

  • Try to access accounts, roaster pages, or data that aren't yours, or get around the limits on what an account or connected app can do.
  • Interfere with or disrupt Timer.Coffee, including by overloading it or probing it for vulnerabilities without our permission. If you find a security issue, please report it to support@timer.coffee.
  • Copy or collect Timer.Coffee content in bulk by automated means, except through features we provide for that purpose.
  • Post fake reviews, or reviews or replies written to manipulate ratings.
  • Use Timer.Coffee to send spam or to promote unrelated products or services.

7. Other services and links

Timer.Coffee links to and works with services we don't run, such as roaster websites, app stores, sign-in providers, and AI apps. Their own terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for their content or practices.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep Timer.Coffee running well, but we provide it "as is" and can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or suitable for a particular purpose. Brew recipes, timings, and coffee information are general guidance. We may change, pause, or stop features at any time.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, Timer.Coffee is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by content from users, roasters, or AI apps, or by services we don't run. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer.

10. Ending your use

You can stop using Timer.Coffee at any time and delete your account from the app or by contacting support@timer.coffee. We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms or puts other users or Timer.Coffee at risk.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will let users know in the app or on the website. If you keep using Timer.Coffee after an update, the new terms apply.
